You will arrive for your tryout, and sign in at our registration tent. You will then be assigned a numbered bib, which you must wear throughout. You will then play for 90 minutes under the evaluation of our coaching staff, and show us what you can do!
In short, yes. Each player trying out will be asked to attend both age group specific tryouts, in order to allow our coaching staff to evaluate each player fairly and with as much time as possible. This is unless otherwise instructed by a Sand and Surf coach.
Our coaching staff will be evaluating numerous components throughout the tryout, such as and not limited to: Technical ability, athleticism, game-understanding, social skills and more.
You will receive a phone call/email dependent on the decision made within 48 hours of the second tryout at the latest. Certain circumstances may merit an earlier notification.
Congratulations! We will now be sending you an acceptance letter via email to sign up to your new club team. Once you are all registered and ready to go, the coach will be in contact with you on the next steps moving forward regarding the new season.
